CRESPI SHOHIN CUP 2004 All collectors and professionals-expert who can present a shohin bonsai of high quality can take part to the Crespi Shohin Cup 2004. Everyone of them can exhibit just one tree and be present as individual participant or as member of club or association. A maximum of 50 shohin will be appreciated in this exhibition. The Crespi Shohin Cup 2004 prize consist of: a voucher for the amount of 1.300,00 € for purchases in the Crespi Bonsai shop; the Crespi Shohin Cup; a page on the Italian magazine "Bonsai & news" will be dedicated to the winner and to his/her exhibited shohin bonsai. Regulation Send a photo of your shohin bonsai and specify its botanical name, height, width, trunk diameter, age (estimated) - together with name, surname, full address and phone no. of the owner - to Crespi Bonsai, Crespi Shohin Cup 2004 - postal address: Corso Sempione 35, 20015 Parabiago (Mi) - Italy - electronic address: crespicup@crespibonsai.it - not later than on 10th March 2004 (the postmark will be considered). A pre-selecting jury, whose judgement is unquestionable, will select the best 50 trees among the received photos. A written notice will be sent to the owners of the bonsai shohin selected for exhibition. The owners of the selected bonsai have to entrust their bonsai to the exhibition place (Crespi Bonsai, Corso Sempione 35, 20015 Parabiago, Milan, Italy), from the 17th to the 21st April 2004, during the working hours (from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.; Sunday: from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.; Monday: from 2.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.). The bonsai will be displayed without any owner's reference and just marked with a number. A jury consisting of international experts will select the most beautiful shohin bonsai, whose owner receives as prize a voucher for the amount of 1.300,00 € for purchases in the Crespi Bonsai shop, as well as the prestigious Crespi Shohin Cup.
