Crespi Bonsai, leading company in Europe, organizes for the year 2004 the 6th International Bonsai and Suiseki Meeting, an event already very expected. Conceived in 1995 by Crespi Bonsai has soon become an event of great importance in Europe, thanks to the wealth of its contents, quality and organization. For this occasion we still propose the competition "Crespi Pot Cup", dedicated to a collectors of bonsai pots and pot masters, still maintaining the prizes introduced in the previous manifestation, that are: the Kaneko Memory Cup, in honour of the Japanese master Kaneko Noboru, will be awarded to the best tree selected not only for its technical quality but also for its naturalness and artistic quality among the bonsai in competition for the Crespi Bonsai Cup; the Yokohama Cup will be awarded to the best coniferous bonsai and the Masakuni Cup to the best deciduous bonsai, selected among all the bonsai exhibited in the Enthusiasts to Confrontation. Five are the exhibitions (competitions) which will offer prizes for over 10.000,00 €: the Crespi Bonsai Cup and Crespi Shohin Cup for collectors and professionals who can present a bonsai or a shohin bonsai of high quality, the Enthusiast to Confrontation for all bonsai amateurs, the Crespi Suiseki Cup for all suiseki collectors and the Crespi Pot Cup dedicated either to who collects or to who produces bonsai pots. To the already consolidated international character of the Crespi Cup will contribute the presence of amateurs from all over Europe, as it happened on the last edition. This aspect gives importance to the International Bonsai and Suiseki Meeting, since it helps to join people of different nationality, giving the enthusiasts a meeting opportunity and a constructive competition, thanks to the exchange of suggestion, opinion and experience.
